CEO and Great Leaders series with Kate Barton, Chief Brand Officer for Magnolia

We are thrilled to kick off the CEO and Great Leaders series.

We are inspired this year by disruptors and change agents and we are thrilled to have Kate share her thoughts on brand innovation including growing the Magnolia brand across channels including the Silos, the #1 tourist destination in Texas, the launch of the Magnolia Network during the pandemic, and her reflections on the transition from more established corporate roles at Minnesota-based companies General Mills and Aveda to a fast-growing startup led by husband and wife founders.

Kate has had a dynamic career, holding a variety of marketing leadership roles at Aveda, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson and the Boston Consulting Group. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA from Baylor University. She lives in Waco, Texas with her husband and three children.

This virtual event will be on April 19th from 12-1pm and will include a talk led by Kate, time for Q&A as well as breakout rooms for networking if time allows.  The event is free, but registration is required. A zoom link will be sent 24 hours before the event to all registered participants.

The CEO and Great Leaders Series is led by the HBS Chairs for the Harvard Club of Minnesota.

This event is open to all Harvard Alumni and Twin Cities Alumni Network alumni organizations.  By signing in with your HarvardKey, your Harvard affiliation will be provided to the organizers. If you register a guest, please include her name, Harvard affiliation, and optionally her email address in the RSVP form that appears when the ticket order is complete.
