Harvard Club of Minnesota Foundation Announces Education Grants
May 11, 2020: Grants awarded to four local education nonprofits serving disadvantaged populations.
The Harvard Club of Minnesota Foundation is pleased to continue its charitable giving program. The following organizations were each selected to receive a donation in the amount of $4,500 in May 2020:
Cristo Rey Jesuit High School - https://www.cristoreytc.org/
Edina A Better Chance - http://www.edinaabc.org/
Higher Ground Academy - https://hgacademy.org/
Project Success - https://www.projectsuccess.org/
Selections are made by a subcommittee and approved each spring by the Harvard Club of Minnesota Board of Directors. Ideal recipients have an education component to their programming, especially involving students who might apply to Harvard. There is no application to be considered for an award.
Although we could not make the award presentations in person this year due to COVID-19, we plan to engage with our cohort of recipients in the fall.
