Panel Discussion: Police Reform and Racial Justice
The Orange County chapters of the Harvard Law School Association and the Harvard Law School Women's Alliance invite you to a panel discussion on police reform and racial justice in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement.
The panelists will address potential reforms to address police use of force, qualified immunity, alternatives to traditional law enforcement, and other aspects of the current debate. The panelists will be Professor Ronald S. Sullivan, Jr., a noted criminal law scholar and criminal defense attorney who is the Jesse Climenko Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Criminal Justice Institute at Harvard Law School, Professor Katie Tinto, Chair of the Public Safety Advisory Committee of the University of California, Irvine and Director of UCI Law's Criminal Justice Clinic, and Michael Friedland, a Harvard Law School graduate, partner at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear, and former Orange County Reserve Deputy Sheriff.
