Snowshoeing at Wirth Park
Join us for a 3-mile snowshoe on the lovely trails at Wirth Park followed by coffee and food afterwards at Mill Valley Market at The Trailhead.
We’ll meet at 11am, inside The Trailhead, near the big wall map. We’ll plan a moderate snowshoe of about 3 miles in the beautiful trails at Wirth Park. After the hike, we’ll gather at Mill Valley Market cafe at TheTrailhead for warm beverages, food, and conversation. There is indoor space as well as an outdoor space with fire pits. Face masks are required inside The Trailhead when not eating or drinking.
Snowshoe rental is available at The Trailhead. https://www.loppet.org/tt/rentals/ If you are renting snowshoes, please arrive 15-20 minutes early so as not to delay the start of the hike.
If there isn’t snow on the ground, we’ll do a winter hike instead (without snowshoes). But if there is snow on the ground, snowshoes are required for the trails we’ll be on.
Please RSVP by clicking here in case weather or Covid leads to plans changing and so we can keep you in the loop. We’d also like to get a sense of how many people to expect.
Parking: It can be busy in the parking lots around The Trailhead. There is additional parking nearby at the Golf Chalet at 1301 Theodore Wirth Pkwy. Please allow extra time for parking.

Open to Harvard alumni and their families. This event is free. Attendees are responsible for their own snowshoe rental (if needed) as well as food and beverage if they choose to get it.
