Hike at Pike Island, Fort Snelling
Join us for a 3.7 mile hike around Pike Island at Fort Snelling State Park, and in between the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. This easy hike is along a wide dirt trail and offers views of the rivers, wildlife and woods. Expect the hike to take around 1hr 30 minutes.
Join us for this 3.7 mile hike around Pike Island, which is inside Fort Snelling State Park, and in between the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. This easy hike is along a wide dirt trail and offers views of the rivers, wildlife and woods. Expect the hike to take around 1hr 30 minutes. Fee: you will need to purchase a state park pass to enter Fort Snelling (around $7 for a daily pass, $35 for an annual MN state park pass). The ranger station is about two miles from where we’ll be meeting so allow a little extra time for getting that.
