Harvard Club of Minnesota Foundation Announces 2025 Education Grants Recipients
July 23, 2025: Grants awarded to three local education nonprofits
The Harvard Club of Minnesota Foundation is proud to announce 3-year funding awards to three exceptional Minnesota-based organizations that are advancing equity, education, and opportunity. Each organization will receive $5,000 per year, totaling $15,000, to support their ongoing work:
• EdAllies works to ensure that all Minnesota students—especially those who have been historically underserved, including children of color, students with special needs, English Learners, and those from low-income households—receive a rigorous and engaging education. Through partnerships with schools, families, and communities, EdAllies advocates for policies and practices that remove barriers, promote equity, and drive systemic change in education.
• Wallin Education Partners is committed to building more equitable communities by supporting college and career success. Recognizing that success looks different for every student, Wallin offers multiple pathways tailored to the diverse needs of its scholars. Their comprehensive approach includes financial aid, advising, and career readiness support to help students thrive in higher education and beyond.
• The Golden Eagles Program at the Minneapolis American Indian Center enhances the resiliency of American Indian youth through culturally grounded programming. The initiative focuses on academic achievement, healthy lifestyles, workforce readiness, leadership development, and fostering strong relationships with caring adults. Through field trips, activities, and curriculum rooted in Indigenous culture, the program empowers youth to succeed while staying connected to their heritage.
These grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to supporting organizations that are making a lasting impact in Minnesota communities.
Selections are made by a subcommittee and approved each spring by the Harvard Club of Minnesota Board of Directors. Recipients have an education component to their programming, and serve an underrepresented student population who could be encouraged to apply to Harvard. There is no application to be considered for an award. If you would like to learn about volunteer opportunities with any of the organizations, please contact admin@harvardmn.org.
