We are honored to welcome Lisa Roath for an intimate breakfast conversation with the Club! Target Corporation, long regarded as a hometown hero of the Minnesota business landscape, has experienced its share of transformation and high-profile pivots over the past decade. Lisa has spent nearly her entire career at Target, giving her a uniquely deep and longitudinal perspective on the company’s evolution. Her warmth, candor, and firsthand experience promise to make this a fascinating conversation about Target’s past, present, and future—and the path that has shaped one of Minnesota’s most iconic companies.

Bio: Lisa Roath is the executive vice president and chief operating officer for Target and a member of its leadership team. In her current role, Lisa is responsible for the retailer’s more than 2,000 stores, its global supply chain network, fulfillment services including same-day delivery with Shipt, enterprise services and properties. Lisa joined Target in 2006 and has held a variety of leadership roles within the company. Most recently, she served as chief merchandising officer of food, beauty and essentials, with responsibility for buying across the company’s frequency categories and an end-to-end food business that included supply chain, store operations and product development. Before that, she served as chief marketing officer, where her team used a combination of data, insights, and the magic of the Target brand to deepen existing guest relationships and inspire consumers to choose Target. Lisa received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
