How to Fix Justice - Economist Northeast Correspondent Rosemarie Ward
Please join the Harvard Club of Minnesota for "How to fix Justice?" a talk on the United States justice system by Rosemarie Ward, New York Correspondent for The Economist.
The shooting of an unarmed black man in Ferguson, Missouri this summer and the events that followed have focused national and global attention on our criminal justice system and its shortcomings. Ms. Ward will comment on current policing and re-entry programs, as well as how prison economics have impacted the administration of justice in the United States. Do we need to police the police? Should we change sentencing laws. Or are there other, better solutions?
